Upside down apple cake

 

Ingredients:

 

Cake:

150 gr organic flour

100 gr sugar

10 cl organic grass fed milk

3 tbsp melted organic grass fed butter

2 organic eggs

2 tsp baking powder

 

Apples:

60 gr organic grass fed butter

6 local organic apples, peeled and cut in 4

100 gr sugar

 

 

Preparation:

 

Melt the butter and sugar in a pan. Add the apples. Let caramelize for 30 minutes, turning them once in a while.

Make the cake batter. Mix the eggs and sugar until it become lighter. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven at 350F.

When the local organic apples are cooked, put the organic apples, butter and sugar mixture in a buttered cake pan. Add the cake batter on top. Cook for 30 minutes. Remove from the pan when it still hot.

 

Yield: 6 servings.
